Experience the best of wildlife in Kumana National Park with the best game drive experience in a Sri Lankan National Park. The Park is located in the Ampara district of Southeast Sri Lanka, at a distance of 391 kilometers from Colombo. Kumana National Park covers an area of about 35,664 hectare of land. This stunning National Park was reopened in March 2003 after it was closed in 1983 due to Civil War in Sri Lanka.

During a typical half day game drive the jeeps venture only on the most accessible of roads inside Kumana National Park

MORNING SAFARI
We start our safari about 5.00 am and will arrive to the Ticket center by 5.55 am, and then we can enter to the park about 6.00 am. We try to see leopards in the morning and we can also see elephants, birds and other animals. We arrive to 'Kumana Villu' and 'Kubuk River' about 8.00 am for a short break. There you can take your breakfast. We start our safari again, About 11.30 am we return to hotel.
EVENING SAFARI
About 1.00 pm we start the safari for the day. We reach to Ticket center about 1.55 pm and enter to the park by 2.15 pm. We hope to see leopards, elephants, birds and other animals. We go to 'Kumana Villu' and 'Kubuk River' about 4.15 pm for a break. & start the safari. Return to hotel around 7.00 pm.
FULL DAY TOUR KUMANA
Duration: Morning 5.00 a.m to 6.00 p.m.
Unlike the half days drive, in a Full day safari the jeeps venture far inside the Jungle to give the best opportunity to see the best of Sri Lankan wildlife. These roads are very basic tracks and going is rough giving you the best viewing and game drive experience in a Sri Lankan National Park. The travelers have an option to order our both picnic breakfast and lunch packs. The Lunch break will be taken near the river or by The Kumana Tank, a cool box with snacks and water can be provide for Full day safari Tour.
ITINERARY - 01 (HALF DAY TOUR KUMANA)
05.00 — 05.55: Picked up from the hotel and drive to the park entrance.
05.55 — 08.30: Morning game drive.
08.30 — 09.10: Picnic Breakfast at near the 'Kumana Willu Bird Watching Tower'.
12.00 — 14.30: At noon break near the river, you can have a river bath, Picnic Lunch, time to rest until evening safari (Sometimes if we heard good news, we reaching for it during break).
14.30 — 18.00: Evening game drive.
19.00: Departure & dropped off to the hotel.

10.30 — 11.40: Panama Crocodile Watching Tour — panama tank.
11.40 — 12.40: Lunch at Panama Village Farmers' House (Village Lunch).
12.45 — 13.45: Picked up from the Panama Village Farmers' House and drive to the park entrance.
14.30 — 18.00: Evening game drive (safari).
19.00: Departure & dropped off to the hotel.
